Rob Lunn

Director

Hi I'm Rob, Diverse Active Director and founder of the Mamafit® programme.

I am Dad to two very energetic boys, Max, who is 4 and Harry who is 1. Giving me first hand experience of the challenges of becoming and being a parent.

I am friendly, passionate and highly motivated, with 17 years experience working in the health & fitness industry.

I created Mamafit® as there are a lot of misconceptions and fears about exercising during pregnancy or as a new mum leading to many new and expectant mums becoming inactive and unhealthy.

Our challenge is to change these misconceptions and encourage pregnant women and mums to remain or become healthy and active during this exciting but life changing period.

We achieve this by addressing fears, providing up to date, researched and proven information and supporting women to be confident to exercise during pregnancy, into motherhood and beyond; improving their health, giving baby the best start in life and developing healthy & sustainable family habits.

I provide knowledge, enthusiasm and support to improve people’s mindset; helping them feel healthy, think positive and become healthy as a family.

Dr Angela Kerrigan

Director

I’m a midwife, mum of two and a Director at Diverse Active.

I’ve been a midwife for 18 years and am currently Consultant Midwife at Wirral University Teaching Hospital (Arrowe Park).

My role centres around public health and normal birth and focuses on maximising women’s health during pregnancy and optimising opportunities for normal birth. I work closely with women to help them achieve the pregnancy and birth they wish for.

When not at work I am a busy mum of two. I have a boy (Leo, aged 3) and a girl (Nancy, 6 months). Both my pregnancies were completely different, and I have experienced both normal birth and emergency Caesarean section.

I passionate about improving health outcomes for pregnant women and new mums. In my role as director I provide expert, research based, knowledge around pregnancy; in particular to develop the Mamafit® programme, ensuring the information and support we deliver is of high standard.

Hi, I’m Liam, I work as a Paraplanner alongside my role as Director at Diverse Active

I have over 14 years experience in Financial services, I'm involved in crunching numbers and coming up with personalised recommendations to meet the needs of clients. I am Diploma qualified in Regulated Financial Planning and hope to advance to Chartered status over the next couple of years.

In my spare time I'm a bit of a fitness fanatic - I run for a local running club and I'm also a regular gym-goer. I'm always keen to take on the advice of personal trainers and coaches, whilst also giving out my own tips to newcomers where I can.

I believe that exercise plays a vital role in improving and maintaining physical and mental wellbeing, I am keen to provide opportunities for more people to become active and improve their health through the support and projects we deliver as an organisation.

Jennifer Longman

Activator

"Hi, I’m Jen and I live in St Helens with my husband and two children, 12 year old James, and Daphne who is 7.

When I’m not being chief cook and bottle washer at home or running mums taxi service I like to read and sew. I love a good dance to blow away the cobwebs, and I think a natter with friends over a brew (and maybe cake!) Is good for the soul.

That’s where Mums SOCIAL comes in!

Mums SOCIAL is an opportunity to get out and about, meet other local mums, have a gab and a cuppa, and all for free!

This project belongs to mums, it’s a way to come together and create your own support networks in the community, a place to share the trials and tribulations, the triumphs and achievements of motherhood.

I hope you’ll come and join us at one (or more!) of our groups, I can’t wait to meet you all!

Jen Tucker

Trainer

I’m Jen, a mum of 3 and an experienced trainer delivering Mamafit classes in Liverpool, Knowsley, St Helens, and Halton.

I'm really enjoy my role of Mamafit Trainer; seeing mums come together to improve their health and wellbeing, is something special and really rewarding.

I've recently been on maternity leave with my third child, little Mikey. He's doing great and is now almost 2; where does the time go!

I'm excited to meet everyone and share the Mamafit experience with you.

The classes are good fun and a brilliant opportunity to connect with other new and expecting mums whilst getting fit and healthy.

I'm sure you will enjoy them as much as I do!

See you soon!
